Important Announcement
2021-03-20Season 2020-2021 ending
To our CPMHA members,
With the province announcing that our Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is moving into the Red – Control Zone of the COVID-19 Framework as of Monday March 22, we have had to make the unfortunate decision to end this year's hockey season, effective today (Saturday, March 20, 2021). We feel that the added capacity and activities restrictions in place under the Red level won't allow us to offer the hockey programming we all wanted for the last remaining week of the season.
Adjustments to the fee payments for the season are underway; please be patient as we work through this.
Although the season was not what we expected, we hope that the players enjoyed their time on the ice and had fun learning and developing in the sport we all love. It goes without saying (but we'll say it anyway!), we need to send a heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who helped us navigate, both on and off the ice, this unprecedented year, and provide the best hockey program we could under the circumstances.
As we close out this season, please continue to check our social media feeds for more information on our virtual Annual General Meeting, scheduled for April 28, 2021, and a list of vacancies for Executive Officer positions that are available for next season.
