Here's to a healthy hockey season!
2022-10-11Let's all practice a common sense approach to ensure everyone enjoys as much of the season as possible.
Currently there are no public health orders in place in Ontario regarding COVID-19. Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) is urging all member associations to follow the guidance provided by their local public health unit. We consider hockey similar to school and childcare settings, so please make sure to read the information specific to these settings.

Even if it’s not COVID, it is cold and flu season, and no one likes to miss hockey when they’re sick. Please practice a common sense approach to ensure everyone enjoys as much of the season as possible.
-
Keep your child home if they are sick.
-
Continue frequent hand washing or sanitizing.
-
Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing — and no spitting! It’s unsanitary and just plain gross.
-
No sharing of water bottles (or anything else that you put your mouth on).
-
Consider wearing a mask if experiencing or recovering from a respiratory infection.
We hope everyone has a healthy (and complete) season. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our VP Admin.
